How information is shared

Assignment information may be shared with authorized participants in that assignment according to their role. Service providers may process limited information on our behalf for hosting, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information.

SMS notifications and consent

For optional NotaryBaseOS text notifications, Notary Base LLC processes the recipient's phone number, SMS preferences, consent and opt-out records, message content, and delivery status. Appointment reminders are intended for the assigned notary and may include appointment times, signer names, signing addresses, and contact numbers. Messaging providers and carriers process information as necessary to deliver messages and honor opt-outs.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent is not transferred to other businesses for their own messaging. Data security and retention

We use access controls and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Records are retained as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable requirements.

Third-party services

Notary Base may rely on third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, communications, and payments. Their handling of information is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
